Head north to Loveland Corn Roast Festival (Aug 23). Parade, sweet corn, live music, and plenty of family-friendly activities.
Pop by the Loveland Rotary Duck Race in the afternoon — kids will love cheering on thousands of rubber ducks racing down the river.
Dinner stop on the way back at a casual family restaurant in Longmont or Boulder.
